Some Activities to Keep You Busy!

Lots of revelers got a leisurely start to their day today as they breakfasted in front of the fire. Many guests are leaving today, but there are some activities  in the area they should be aware of:

Steam In the Snow
A special charter by the Massachusetts Bay Railroad Enthusiasts, this excursion is open to the public. Departing from our landmark North Conway station for Sawyers River, which is approximately 6 miles west of Bartlett, the train will be powered by Steam Locomotive #7470. On the return trip, numerous stops will be made for photo "run-bys," so be sure bring your camera!  This special train departs at 10:30 a.m. and returns to North Conway at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, January 2nd only.

"Art n' Craft Activities" MWV Childrens Museum
Come to the MWV Childrens Museum for a fun filled day exploring the museum and doing your own arts n craft activity that you can take home! Perfect for ages 0-9 The Childrens Museum is an educational entertaining environment that makes learning FUN! Nicholas White - Organ Series Concert
Nicholas White will play works by Henry Purcell, J.S. Bach, Claude Balbastre, Eugene Gigout, Louis Vierne and Nicholas White beginning at 3 pm at Christ Episcopal Church (the white church corner of Rte. 16 & Pine St.) in North Conway Village. Suggested donation: $10 to benefit the music program of Christ Church. 603-356-2062

Ski with a Naturalist, Presented by: Great Glen Trails
Time: 10:30am
In conjunction with the Appalachian Mountain Club, Great Glen Trails offers you the chance to really get to know Pinkham Notch. When you ski with a naturalist, you will learn about the flora and fauna that make our corner of the world so special. You’ll scout for tracks in the snow. You’ll learn about the different trees in the Glen. You’ll listen for distinct bird calls. You’ll truly begin understand how the ecosystem works in Pinkham Notch. Free with a trail pass.
